I have been hunting since I was 12 yrs old when my father introduced me to the sport. I have pursued deer, turkey, bear, coyotes and small game. I was introduced to waterfowl 20 yrs ago, it has become an addiction ever since and I hope they never find a cure. There is nothing like having a flock of Canada's locked up with feet down in your face at 10 yards, I really enjoy taking people out and putting them on some big honker so that's why four yrs ago I. with a partner, started Southern Tier Outfitters goose guide service here in NY. The feeling I get from watching the client's reaction as birds are three feet off the ground and in the kill hole is a rush.
I do several seminars on goose hunting during the off season as well as run three waterfowl calling contests. I run camera for Callin' The Shots TV as well as pro staff for Longneck Outdoors. I'm a field staff for Drake waterfowl and the chairman of our local Delta Chapter.
I love taking kids out and introducing then to waterfowl hunting and run several youth hunts in my area.
I'm a carpenter by trade and live with my fiancée and between the two of us we have 6 kids.
I'm looking forward to representing Dakota Decoys for the fact that Dakotas has the same values and demands that I have. When you spend 50 + days in the field the decoys you use need to keep up and Dakotas will do that hands down.
