Jake Meales
My name is Jake Meales i was born and raised in the small town of Humboldt Tennessee on September 7, 1984. I started hunting deer and turkey at a very young age with my father and my love for the outdoors never seems to stop. I started competing in turkey calling contest when i was ten and that led me to the Grand Nationals when i was fifteen. Waterfowl and turkey hunting is an obsession to me. People wonder why we do what we do, but there is nothing like working honkers into your decoys at ten yards or having mallards come down vertical in the timber. The area i live in is very popular for its duck hunting and also has a network of refuges that hold thousands of migrating waterfowl in the winter. I spend a lot my off season scouting these areas so i will be prepared for the fall. My passion for waterfowl hunting has taken me many places and led me to countless numbers of friends. I have now been blessed with great friends that i travel to hunt with all the way to Canada in October, down to Missouri, Arkansas, and here in Tennessee during the winter. I have been through many hunting products and tried almost everything. I was introduced to Dakota Decoys in 2008 and logged many hours hunting over them. The durability and craftsmanship of these decoys is top of the line. I feel honored being able to join the team of the Dakota Decoy Company. I want to work hard educating people on these great products and help them feel comfortable choosing Dakota Decoys. I am confident Dakota Decoys are the best decoys on the market, surrounded by a great team of individuals who are truly passionate about waterfowl hunting and demand the best products. I hope to see everyone with Dakota Decoys in their spread.
