James Peil

My name is Jim Peil. I am 27 year old full time college student at Fredonia State University in Fredonia, NY. I grew up hunting deer, turkey, and other various small game in Central New York. My father is an avid outdoorsman who shared with me his passion for hunting and fishing when I was very young. In 2007, I was honorably discharged from the US Air Force after six years of service. While in the Air Force I met a competition duck caller who introduced me to the sport of waterfowling. Once I killed my first duck, I was hooked. Since then, I have hunted in Missouri and New York for every species of waterfowl. Once September hits I spend better than 100 days afield chasing ducks and geese all over the Empire State. In May, I really enjoy chasing big gobblers in the rolling hills of New York. When I am not hunting or scouting, I enjoy coaching swimming and fishing for steelhead, walleye, or smallmouth bass in my local area.
