I was born in the small town of Kingman, KS and lived there most of my life. Growing up in a small town there wasn't a whole lot to do besides hunt. At the age of 9 I started going out to the duck blind with my dad, and that’s what started the madness. Ducks were the first animal I ever hunted and to this day its an obsession of mine ever since. Living in Kansas has allowed me to hunt many different types of areas and many different species of ducks. But to me there is nothing better than lying in the middle of a cornfield working a group of honkers or a tornado of greenheads.
Being able to work in the hunting industry has allowed me to meet many people and be able to talk with others who share the same passion that I have. This opportunity has gave me the privilege of meeting a lot of great people, and learned a lot of things from some very knowledgeable people. After hunting over football shaped decoys for years I was very excited to see a decoy with great detail, paint scheme, and motion system combined all in one. I am very excited to be a part of Dakota Decoys, and be able to represent such a great company. I also serve as the central flyway manager for Ducklander Calls.
