My name is Josh Young and I grew up in Illinois. My dad introduced me to hunting at a very young age. He loves chasing bucks but I love ducks. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University and work as a security consultant by day and is a firefighter by night. Living in Illinois makes you a little spoiled when it comes to hunting almost anything. The deer are huge, ducks seem to always be flying, and geese never really leave. My usual hunting partner is my 3 year old lab "Hunter". I started hunting waterfowl about ten years ago and really got hooked shortly after. The last few years we have really smashed geese, but killing mallards still get my blood pumping. Either way, watching waterfowl locked up with their feet down is a rush!
