I am 31 years old and have been married to my lovely wife Erin for 8 years. We live outside of Green Bay, WI (See Ya Favre!) and I have lived in Wisconsin all of my life. I have a 5 year old son Caleb and a 4 year old daughter Della. My son got his first taste of waterfowling, (not including the back yard) this year and loved it. He was quite the little trooper. It is my hope that he will develop a passion for it as well. I am employed with Neenah-Menasha Fire/Rescue Local 275. I have been there for 9 years and wouldn’t trade it for the world. The schedule is great and affords me the time and flexability to do what I love and spend a lot of time at home as well.
It wasn’t until 14 that I first started hunting deer and small game hunting. My dad didn’t hunt so it was kind of a “learn as you go style” for quite a few years. Waterfowling started as something to do while I wasn’t deer hunting and I have never looked back. Deer hunting has taken a huge back seat to the birds. It was really hit or miss for many years, until I decided to get serious about it. Eventually, I hooked up with a couple of friends and we really started to work at it and it paid off. I always got by with what I could afford, which I’m sure is the way it works for most people. I did realize after a while though, that you get what you pay for. We have hunted over many brands and have had interesting experiences with other companies and their decoys. That and the customer service is what brought me to Dakota. I am very glad to be part of the TEAM.
