Nick Posusta

I grew up in the little town of Silver Lake, MN. As soon as I was old enough to walk I had a fishing pole in my hand. Fishing was always my favorite thing to do as a kid growing up, but when I turned ten my grandpa introduced me to hunting. After that it became an addiction that is still with me today. I started guiding four years ago in Missouri. Snow geese are my waterfowl of choice because of the time and skill that it takes to decoy them in close enough to shoot, but I still love to put honkers in the dirt. I’m a full time guide seven months out of the year, guiding from Alberta, to Mississippi with many states in between. This past spring I branched out on my own and started Eaglehead Outdoors.

When I am not chasing birds, I’m in Alaska working on a charter boat for Deepstrike Sport fishing, which consists of bear hunting and halibut, silver and king salmon fishing. When the day is done on the charter boat I love to wade the rivers of Alaska and fly fish for salmon.
