Robbie Iverson is from Ottawa a small town in north central Illinois. Robbie did not exactly grow up hunting but his family did. His dad stopped hunting while Robbie was real young.
I saw the calls laying around and wanted my dad to start getting back into hunting again. So one December I made a purchase from Cabela’s magazine for decoys, and gave them to my dad on Christmas as a hint that I wanted to get back into hunting.
My first hunt was when I was 12 years old on the Fox River. Had very few decoys and a mojo and I killed my first drake wood duck. I was hooked after that. I have been hunting for 5 years and my knowledge of this wonderful game we play keep progressing.
I am also into the duck and goose calling industry. I started back in January of 07’ and got 4th out of 4. Now I am being able to get top 5 finishes in both open duck and goose contests. As of now I have 18 championships and 32 top 5 finishes. I would like to thank Tim Grounds, and Butch Richenbach for their help with my success.
