I started my hunting career at a very early age, first cutting my teeth deer hunting, and it wasn't until I was about 14 that I went waterfowling. It was that first time that got me hooked. Now I go waterfowling all through the season on days off (and even somedays that I have to work, there have been many days I've gone to work sweaty and smelling like a slough) and snow goose hunting in the spring. Always at my side is my yellow lab, Wally who is my inspiration to stay in the field, even when the weather is miserable.
I went to the University of Minnesota Crookston where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Resources. I enjoy all types of waterfowling, but my absolute favorite is field hunting for geese.
I enjoy Dakota Decoys for their outstanding durability and realism to be able to "finish" wary and shot-up geese.
