Hunting: I do most of my hunting in South Dakota, but do venture out to Utah and Montana. I grew up in the SE corner of South Dakota and was taught to hunt by my father. I enjoy hunting with my family and friends, especially when you get to introduce new people to hunting particularly kids. I think spending time in the outdoors with good friends and family is one of the greatest gifts on the earth. I have a very understanding wife that enjoys most hunting, but tolerates my several hunting trips from September to May. I can be found out hunting waterfowl, pheasants, deer, elk, turkeys, or anything else if given the opportunity. My favorite hunting is waterfowl, and I can be found hunting those most of the fall and spring.
Off-Season: When there is no more hunting in sight, I enjoy fishing, camping and dog training. I spend most of the summer getting the dogs ready for the upcoming seasons and preparing them for hunt trials. The rest of the time is spent enjoying my family, also getting them ready for the upcoming seasons.
