I can remember it like it was yesterday. I was 6 years old and I heard some noise coming from the living room. I hopped out of bed to find my dad getting ready to go somewhere. "Where are you going dad?" "I'm going hunting son."
Well that was about 19 years ago and let me tell you the passion has only increased. There's nothing like a flock of honkers about to touch down and you rise out of your blind and they dont know what just hit 'em or when a swarm of mallards dive at about 200 miles per hour into a cut corn field and they start dropping like flies. These are the things I lay and wait for all year long. Whether it's on the contest stage or in the field you can always find me doing something with hunting and the outdoors.
About the first week of May my fiance and myself will be moving to Turtle Lake, North Dakota, a town of about 550 people. It is there where I will chase my dream of waterfowling and we will start our family.
I have been fortunate enough to work in the industry of selling outdoor gear, so I get to see and try all the new things.
