Kody Karloff

Growing up in a small farm community in eastern Nebraska being an outdoorsman is just a way of life. I was born and raised on the farm and have hunted since I was old enough to remember. I got in on my first good duck hunt on the Platte River at the age of 12 and that is where the sickness began.  Whether its watching a flock of thirsty mallards dive into a water hole, or a flock of hungry honkers feet down over the corn stalks. My heart pounds with the same intensity as it did on my first duck hunt. Around here there is no off season. I am always working on my pit or getting permisson and scouting for the upcoming season. Competition calling has also become a passion of mine and have met many new friends traveling to shows and having a good time doing it. I am very excited to be a part of the Dakota Decoy team because it is a product I believe in and most importantly puts birds in the kill hole. Premium Decoys For Demanding Hunters!

Travis R. Bullock

I was born and raised on a ranch in Cache Valley located in Northern Utah.  Thanks to my father Richard I have been hunting since I was old enough to carry a gun.  I married my beautiful wife Chrissy in 1996 and we have four wonderful children.  From 2007 - 2010, I owned and operated Bullock Outdoors filming "FOLD EM" Hardcore Waterfowl Series DVDs and would travel all over the Rockies, through the Midwest and Canada.  I fell in love with the different beauty the Midwest had to offer and the overwhelming hunting opportunities.  In 2009 my family and I relocated to SE North Dakota, where we live on a beautiful piece of ground next to the James River.   I work for the State of North Dakota and enjoy my time off with my family in the outdoors; hunting, running dogs, riding horses and spending time together.  During the generous North Dakota hunting seasons, I juggle my time chasing local and migrating waterfowl, upland game birds, Whitetail bucks and doing my part for Predator Control!

I recently started a new Delta Waterfowl Chapter in Jamestown, ND and volunteer as the Chairman for the Drift Prairie Chapter.  I am active in the outdoor community and also belong to other conservation organizations such as Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever.

I was proud to have Dakota Decoys as an affiliate of Bullock Outdoors and a sponsor of my Fold Em DVD series.  I have been on the staff for Dakota Decoys since the company began and worked as the Flyway Director for the Pacific and Central Flyways as well as being an original member of the X-treme Team.  Dakota Decoy makes an exceptional product and provides the quality life like decoys we need to finish birds consistently in the decoys for clean ethical shots.

Matt Haase

Hi I am Matt Haase.  I live in Central Indiana.  I have been married to my lovely wife Mandy for almost 16 years.  We have 6 wonderful children and 1 more on the way.  Hunting is a way of life for our family always affecting our schedule during season!  My wife is very patient as I pursue the passion of water fowling during the season, and my children love to go hunting with dad and participate in all of the preparations needed.  This past season was my oldest son’s first actually harvesting birds, and we spent many days afield together.  I have been affiliated with Dakota Decoys from their beginning in 2007, and I have seen first hand how the reaslism and quality of the products have helped us to be more consistently productive in the field.  If problems may arise, you can also be assured of the best customer service and warranty in the business as well.  Great products, great people… Dakota Decoys is a company you can trust.

Kyle Foli

Kyle Foli is an X-Treme Team representative from the Mississippi Flyway who has a tremendous passion for the art of fooling the Mallard Duck and Canada Goose. Kyle has been hunting all his life, but one aspect of hunting that Kyle feels is not being taken advantage of is getting more kid’s introduced to the outdoors. Kyle will jump at the chance to take a kid out and let them experience what a lot of hunters take for granted. Kyle believes that kids are our future and feels getting them out in the outdoors is key to the survival of our hunting heritage. Kyle is proud to be part of Dakota Decoy and their commitment to the everyday hunter, their decoy guarantee and the youth staff program. What Kyle likes about Dakota Decoy is that when it comes to durability, realism, motion and ease of set-up, Dakota Decoy is second to none. Kyle is married to his supportive wife, Crysti, for 19 years and has an 11 year old daughter, Kyndall Ann. Kyle and his family resides in the small coal mining town of Dugger, Indiana.

Jim Beverly

I was married to my beautiful H.S. sweetheart in 1966.  We have three girls and four grandchildren.  I have over 45 years experience in training retrievers and being involved with the waterfowl hunting industry.  My primary education is in engineering and marketing which in many ways has helped me with the business affairs of running my own dog training business and marketing my sponsor’s products.  God has Blessed me with the ability to successfully train retrievers using different techniques, with a non-traditional attitude, that has allowed me the reputation of not washing out any retriever.  My activities consist of a variety of waterfowl hunting related venues.  My focus at this point in my career is education by doing seminars and training clinics.  I also recently developed a new activity for the companion retriever and handler called the Companion Retriever Hunting Challenge or C.R.H.C.  I am currently scheduling these contests for indoor and outdoor events.  I am in the process of putting together a retriever training DVD’ and a handlers instruction DVD and have finished a fun DVD titled “If Your Retriever Could Talk”.  I have a new pup coming in late Jan. 2011 sired by my Zeus.  He will be featured in a DVD that will show him from the time he is picked up at the breeders, through the preparation for his first hunt and actual footage of his first day in the blind.  The latest service I have developed is a complete, online training program using the latest technology that will allow me to not only explain, but show with video, or in real time, the techniques I have developed and the proper use of the DTSystem and other sponsor products.  In the past, I have assisted trainers as far away as Germany acquire titles on their retrievers and now with the new technology, it will be as though I am there personally saving many hours and money to accomplish the handlers goals.  My passion for waterfowl hunting has given me an avenue to help the handicapped and today’s youth.  I am responsible for guiding the handicapped hunters on the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge and participate in local schools, churches and DU Greenwing events.  My sponsors are the best in the waterfowl hunting industry.  I am a Dakota Decoy X-Treme Team Staff Member, DTSystem Pro Staffer, Representative for CamoFlex and NutriSource Dog Food.  Pro Staff  member for MoJo Outdoors and KES Custom Calls. KES presently has a Jim Beverly Signature duck call that will hit the market early 2011.  A great sounding, beautiful blackcherry acrylic call with my decal and signature etched into the acrylic.  I am a volunteer for the Iroquois NWR, sponsor and volunteer for DU, member of Delta Waterfowl, member of The Finger Lakes & WNY Waterfowl Assoc. and Lake Plains Waterfowl Assoc.   I make it a priority to use and recommend all my sponsors products when I do any event.  I also carry that same attitude into the field or marsh when hunting.  My mission in life is to help anyone I can with the talents and opportunities that God has entrusted me with.

Robbie Iverson

I started hunting when I was about 11years old. Ever since that first day, I have been hooked. I got really into waterfowl hunting, I have come to find out I need the best of the best equipment. This is why I choose Dakota Decoys. They are by far the best when it comes to looking good, and still having durability. Being with Dakota Decoy Company, has brought me more than enough opportunities. Bill is by far the best when it comes to customer service. Hands down Dakota Decoy treats everyone the same whether customer or staffer. If you have a problem with your decoys, Bill will take care of it.

Wayde Schroder

I was born and raised near Tomah, an area located in Central Wisconsin known for its big whitetails and cranberries. I started hunting at a young age with my father Blaine.  I started following him through the central Wisconsin woods chasing coonhounds until I was old enough to hunt deer.  I didn’t start waterfowl hunting until my senior year in high school when a friends and his dad took me to the might Mississippi River. Since then I have been hooked!

After high school I moved to Ely Minnesota where I attended College at Vermillion Community College and obtained an AS Degree in Water Quality. During those few years I met Jen and we got married September of 2008.  We have no children but 2 labs; Megan and Tiel. After College we moved to the twin cities were I currently work for the City of Woodbury as a Public Service Worker in water and sewer.

Is there really an “off season”? It seems as hunters in general if were not reminiscing about hunting on a slow day at work during those long summer months, talking to friends and fellow hunting companions about a great hunt that past season, buying gear for the upcoming season, coming up with new strategies for the next, the list goes on and on! I like to spend my “non hunting” days with my wife banking those precious get out of jail cards for the fall.

Brain Kalkbrenner

Growing up in eastern Missouri and in the heart of the Mississippi flyway waterfowling was in the blood of Brian from the start. Brian started at age 8 hunting all over Missouri and spending countless hours in the blind watching and learning the art of waterfowling from his father and grandfather. When he turned 10 he bagged his 1st mallard drake and from then on he was hooked! He learned a lot from his family, but the one think they never did was goose hunt. So he had to teach himself how to goose hunt. He spent many afternoons watching the local geese at the refuges and parks. Then over the course of a few years he fine tuned his skills and now takes his father out to goose hunt though out the season. During the off season you can find him working shows and contests across the Midwest where he is more than willing to share his knowledge and passion for waterfowl. Brian is now an accomplished young waterfowler he is currently an X-Treme Team member for Dakota Decoy, a pro staffer for Foiles Migrators and Muddy Dog Outdoors.

Andy Viet

Andy Viet grew up in the wildlife rich area of eastern South Dakota. Growing up in a family who enjoys the challenge and excitement of hunting it was only natural that Andy was drawn to waterfowl. With the help of his father Doug, and brother Tom, Andy learned the ins and outs of waterfowling that would later fuel his obsession with ducks and geese. From early season ducks in the potholes of northeastern South Dakota to late season honkers on the Missouri River chances are that if the sun comes up, Andy will be out chasing fowl. This devotion to waterfowl hunting has taught him the lessons, and techniques necessary to be successful in the field even in the most adverse of conditions.

In the off season Andy enjoys traveling to various sporting events to share his love and knowledge of waterfowling. When not chasing waterfowl Andy enjoys hunting a variety of other game including: deer, turkeys, pheasants, grouse, and antelope. During the summer months Andy frequents the lakes and rivers of South Dakota in pursuit of the many game fish species they have to offer. To sum Andy up if it has to do with the outdoors he’s in the thick of it. This passion and ambition brings valuable insight and knowledge to the Dakota Decoy X-Treme Team and we’re proud to have him.

Scott Rumble

Canadian Provinces Director

I am from Ridgetown, Ontario a small town in Southern Ontario. I reside with my wife Stephanie and two children Sean and Shanna.

I was introduced to waterfowl hunting at an early age and have been addicted since the age of 16. I am now 39 years old and get just as excited to be in the field or marsh today as I did back then. Waterfowling has opened a lot of new opportunities for me. I began contest calling back in 2005 and continue to compete in events. I have won 8 contests to date and have placed in 20 other events. A list of the contests I have won to date are:

Calling contest have lead to great friendships and a lot of traveling  seeing North America. I met Bill at a waterfowl show and was fortunate to be able to test the first generation Dakota X-treme Honkers and am proud to say I have been using Dakota Products from the beginning. Bill has outstanding customer service and the drive to make an already incredible products even better.

In my spare time I enjoy training dogs, running hunt tests, giving seminars, making calls at the GK Calls Shop, helping with Youth Hunts and spending time with family fishing and travelling. My kids have really showed an interest in the outdoors and I enjoy teaching them and other youth the  traditions of waterfowling.

Justin Sieverding

Growing up in the hunting and fishing rich state of South Dakota, it’s no wonder why Justin took such an interest in the outdoors. With the guidance of his father, Dennis, and grandfather, Bob, Justin began learning the ins and outs of both hunting and fishing at an early age. While walleye fishing was the largest part of his outdoor ambition early on, hunting became a serious part of his life when he was introduced to waterfowl by his good friend and cousin, Matt Barnard. After his first hunt with Matt on a small duck pond in central South Dakota, Justin was forever hooked on waterfowl. With the help of Matt, Justin learned every aspect of waterfowling from decoy spreads, bird patterns, scouting, and especially calling. With this new knowledge, Justin became obsessed with learning everything he could about waterfowling by spending virtually every day out hunting. This obsession has given Justin the opportunity to work with some of the best companies in the waterfowl industry and has helped him to pass his knowledge and passion on to others. Today, Justin’s life, for the most part, revolves around walleyes in the spring and summer, and waterfowl hunting in the fall and winter.

Ricky Hart

Ricky currently resides in Lisle, IL. He was born and raised in Sturgis, MI where he began chasing waterfowl with his father at the young age of five and began gunning at twelve. During the off season Ricky enjoys working on calling techniques, turkey hunting, and various types of outdoor related events.

Kody Daniel

I was born and raised in Quincy, IL which is located on the Mississippi River. Hunting has been a passion of mine since the day I began some ten years ago now. After the very first hunt I was fortunate to be a part of, I was hooked! Hunting everything from early season teal to late season honkers followed up by spring snow geese. I have also been passionate about deer and turkey hunting and have been very fortunate to have some great spots to hunt with family and friends. At the current time I am a senior at Bradley University where I am majoring in Civil Engineering. While at Bradley I have been fortunate to become president of the Bradley University Sportsmen’s Club where I have introduced many kids to the life of a waterfowl hunter and it has allowed me to give back more than I ever could have imagined. While in the off season I have grown to enjoy practicing on the calls and getting the chance to work with my dog. Overall hunting has consumed most of my free time as most avid waterfowl hunters can relate to.  From zero degree weather to the warm temperatures of the early season I have found a passion that has stuck with me over the years and I hope that it will continue to bless me for many years to come with family and friends that I enjoy to share the outdoors with.

Randy Rawlings

Fellow waterfowl Fanatics, my name is Randy Rawlings and I grew up chasing waterfowl in the great state of Missouri.  As I got older and learned more about this great sport I started traveling with family and friends in pursuit of ducks and geese from Canada to Arkansas.  Now we find ourselves doing this from early September in Canada to following the snow goose migration back into the Dakotas in late March.  It makes for a long season, but the last hunt of the season we always find ourselves looking forward to the first one of the next season.  I've got to say it is and honor and a privilege to staff for a company as great as Dakota Decoy.  A remarkable decoy that can take the abuse day in and day out that our crew puts them through.  It does not matter if it the flooded timber of Arkansas or the grain fields of Saskatchewan, we know we can trust a hassle free hunt with our Dakotas. Thanks for an oustanding job.  I look forward to meeting many of the fellow staffers on here, and if you are ever in Missouri during waterfowl season look me up, we always can make room for more to go along.

Ryan Ashby

Growing up on the bluffs of the Mighty Mississippi, hunting was a lifestyle to Ryan Ashby. Just outside the city lights of Memphis, TN, lies some of the best crop land in North Mississippi. This foundation, helped mold Ryan into the sportsman he is today. Whether it is hail calling migrators on the rivers, dug deep into a layout blind in snow covered corn, or leaning on dead cypress soft quacking mallards, you will always find him doing what he loves the most. That is taking part in this great sport we all call waterfowling. Ryan has also expanded his take on ducks and geese, and now works as a cameraman most of waterfowl season for his own outfit, Swamp Donkey Productions. He is a member of Dakota Decoy X-treme team, and Foiles Migrators Pro Staff. He resides in Southaven, MS with his wife Kayla. You can find them in the off season at shows and seminars in the Mid-South, helping the youth and promoting product.
